PROUDLY KEEPING SMILES ON FACES AT THE RED CROSS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL WITH A COOL DONATION OF R507 500

This year, our CCS group is proud to support The Red Cross Children’s Hospital Trust in support of the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital. As South Africa's only dedicated children’s hospital, it provides a wide range of specialist paediatric services to children in need.

The hospital is a Centre of Excellence for training child healthcare professionals and is the largest children’s hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa, treating around 250 000 patients each year. Despite operating in an environment with limited resources, it delivers multidisciplinary care at an international level.

Our donation of R507 500 is directed to the hospital’s burns unit. This support helps maintain high-quality services and care, ensuring that children receive the treatment they need. Additionally, we were able to provide a gift to each child in the burns unit and a special treat for the nurses who care for them.

We are proud to contribute to The Red Cross Children’s Hospital Trust’s mission of providing quality healthcare and essential resources to children. Our support reflects our commitment to enhancing healthcare and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients.
