IMPORT AND EXPORT PRODUCTS STORED SEPARATELY

BONDED WAREHOUSING WHERE YOU NEED IT

Bonded warehouses are widely used by importers and exporters as they create efficiencies in supply chain management. A bonded warehouse is a facility used for the storage of goods being imported into a new market. Goods stored in bonded warehouses are not liable for customs duties but only become payable when the goods are to be delivered to their next destination.

Using bonded warehouses means goods can be shifted closer to their final destination, and the payment of duties can be postponed until the product is moved. We have bonded certification (SOS and OS)
at selected facilities whereby we can store imported products. Imported products are stored in a designated area in the warehouse and controlled by customs authorities.

  • Detained consignments must be inspected and released by Customs authorities before entering the bond store.

  • All bond documentation must be approved and cleared by Customs before it enters and exits the bonded warehouse.

  • Our Customs-controlled warehouse is used for the retention
of imported goods (as guided by the Customs Act of 1964) until the duties and/or VAT amounts (due to Customs) are paid.
